Innovative Teacher Grant

The BHEF Innovative Teacher Grant Program provides teachers and staff with the resources and tools needed to impact student achievement within BHUSD. The goal is to directly support the needs of the teacher(s) and their classroom by bringing innovative, creative, original, and out of the box learning practices into the learning environment. The Innovative Teacher Grant program brings these ideas to life in the classroom and the lives of the students when other funding may not be available.  BHEF has committed $20,000 to support this program District-wide.

WHO CAN APPLY?

All certificated personnel in the BHUSD can apply for an Innovative Teacher Mini-Grant. Proposals can be submitted by individual teachers, teams of teachers, or certificated district personnel serving TK-12 students in BHUSD.

WHAT ARE THE TIMELINES FOR THE APPLICATION?

Applications due by email including all required signatures: September 3, 2024

Decisions will be emailed to ALL applicants by: September 11, 2024

Public Announcement will be made: September 16, 2024

Deadline for final report and documentation: June 3, 2025
